There are different ways to locate the serial number of your device
1. On the base of your device there will be a combination of numbers and letters next to SN#, that is the serial number of your device
If this number has been rubbed off the base of your device follow the other steps that are below
2. In the search bar of your taskbar type HP Support Assistant, and then click Open
3. On your Dashboard under your the image of your device it will provide the details of your device including the serial number
Another way to find your Serial Number is to also:
- In the search bar of your taskbar type About your PC, and then click Open
2. Once the About Settings are opened, scroll down to Windows Specifications and within the specifications will be your devices Serial Number
Another way to find your Serial Number across ALL WINDOWS DEVICES is to also:
1. Open Command Prompt as an Administrator and enter the following prompt. This will then show a copy of the devices Serial Number.
